ABOUT RACHAEL VINCI
I grew up on a small farm in rural North Jersey, about an hour west of New York City. I was homeschooled until my teen years, when I began pursuing my studies in theatre. I trace my love of classical theatre back to the historical novels I read as a child and to learning how to sew costumes at an early age.
I’ve always enjoyed all aspects of the arts—from theatre and stitching to knitting and painting. When I’m not on stage, I’m teaching sewing lessons and working on Broadway’s Aladdin as part of the wardrobe team. I’ve also recently started posting vlog-style videos on my YouTube channel.
I’m most often cast in stern, headmistress-type roles or strong maternal characters. My dream theatrical roles include Maria in The Sound of Music, Desdemona in Othello, and really anything classical or tragic. For film and television, I dream of being part of shows like All Creatures Great and Small and The Gilded Age.
